WALKATHON 2019
Well it’s that time of year again.  Our annual Walkathon is coming up on Friday, May 3, 2019. 
 
Our goal is to raise $25,000.00.  This year funds are being raised for Library Revisioning.
 
Once again we are having a contest for the 1 Primary & 1 Intermediate GRADE that raises the most pledges.  It will not be by individual class, but by Grade.  The grades having the most money raised will earn a ‘SPECIAL’ event that will be held in May.

* HOT LUNCH * for April, May & June
Our hot lunch ordering system is ready for Summer orders starting today. All orders and payments must be received by April 23rd (no late orders will be accepted!) If your family has not already registered for the year, please go to https://staroftheseaschool.hotlunches.net/admin. Click the REGISTER tab on the top right of the page.  Enter our school access code: STAR2018 (case sensitive). Complete the registration page, add your children to their classes and order all your hot lunches for the summer schedule.   By registering a class contact list is automatically generated for each classroom that is only accessible by families in that class.  Once you have completed the hot lunch orders for your family simply send in your payments (cash or cheque), please include the remittance form with payment.  If you are unable to print the remittance form, please indicate your child/children's full name (first & last name) with the payment.
 
** Please note – there will be NO lunch after Walkathon this year, but we will have the ‘FREE’ lunch for Fun Day on Monday, June 24, 2019!  Please be sure to order your Fun Day lunch online.

LOST & FOUND OVERFLOW
Please double check the Lost & Found before you leave for Spring break as all remaining clothing will be donated.  Thank you.
 
PARISH REQUEST
Please provide your email address to the parish.  The parish is updating its database with everyone’s email address so that they may communicate with you electronically thereby reducing postage expenses.  Please fill in the “pink card” which will come home with your eldest child today and drop off at the school or parish office.  Thank you!
